Is there an additional fee when renewing a quarantined domain?
The extra charge when renewing a quarantined domain name depends on the domain ending. More specifically:
- For the renewal of .gr /.com.gr /.org.gr /.gov.gr/.edu.gr /.net.gr domains there is no additional cost.
- For .com / .info / .net / .org.com/.info/.net/.org/ .eu /.club / .email /.coffee / .website /.holiday /.estate /.photography domains , as long as the renewal takes place within 39 days of their expiry, there is no additional charge. After these days, the domains enter the second level of quarantine by ICANN, in which case the renewal costs are multiplied.
- For the renewal of .gr /.com.gr /.org.gr /.gov.gr/.edu.gr /.net.gr domains there is no additional cost.
