My domain has expired or is about to expire. Can I transfer it to Top.Host?

Domains extensions in .net, .com, .eu, .info that are in quarantine can be transferred to Top.Host if the previous registrar allows it. After 60 days from the renewal date, you have the option to submit a transfer request and transfer them to Top.Host.

Domains extensions in .gr, .eu that are in quarantine can be transferred on a case-by-case basis.

If the end of the quarantine coincides with a date longer than the expected name transfer duration (1 day for .gr and 2 days for .eu), it is possible to submit the transfer request manually. In this case, it is enough to send a request to support@top.host that will include:

  • the domain to be transferred together with the corresponding Authorization Code.

The service is charged:

€25.7 + VAT for .gr endings and ensures the renewal of the name for 2 years

€8.20 + VAT for .eu endings and ensures the renewal of the name for 1 year from the transfer date

Caution! Since the transfer of a name involves the approval process from the Domain administrator as well as from the original registrar, it is very likely that there will be delays. To ensure the smooth and successful completion of the name transfer, we recommend that you proceed with the application only if the name expires within a period longer than the expected transfer time.
