My domain is quarantined What does this mean?

In case a domain is not renewed in time, it expires and enters a quarantine state. In this state the domain is inactive, but remains reserved and can only be renewed by you.

The .gr / .com.gr / .org.gr / .gov.gr / .edu.gr / .net.gr domains are quarantined for a period of 15 days, after which they are released and available for registration from new from third parties.

.com / .info / .net / .org / .eu / .club / .email / .coffee / .website / .holiday / .estate / .photography domains are quarantined for 29 days, after which , are entered into a second level of quarantine by the ICANN registrar.

The period of time in this case is not clear, while the cost of renewal is multiple. Once the domain's hold period by ICANN expires, the domain name is again available for registration.
