Which TLD should I choose?

Domain names consist of a name and a extension, which is called a Top Level Domain (TLD). There are the TLDs that correspond to codes of countries or wider regions, they consist of two characters and each country or region corresponds to one.

For example, in Greece the extension .GR corresponds, in Germany the extension .DE, in the European region the extension .EU etc.
There are also generic TLDs used by organizations and individuals worldwide, they consist of 3 or more characters and are the most popular. Such extensions are .COM, .NET, .ORG, .INFO, etc.

Therefore, if you wish to link your page to a specific region, you can choose the corresponding local extension.

More information about the TLDs we support can be found in our price list.
