Acronis BackUp: Restore to website files (Cpanel)

Through the Acronis Backup application you can restore backup of your files immediately and safely to the settings they had on a previous date. To do this, follow the instructions outlined below.

Steps to restore page files through Acronis Backup:
1. Login to your cPanel.

2. Locate the Files category and select Acronis Backup.

3. The Backup tab displays the list of daily Backups of your site. Find the date with the Backup you wish to restore the files and click on the corresponding active link of the date.

4. Select Files.

5. Then select the root folder you wish to restore that corresponds to your site (eg public_html) and click on the Recover option.

6. When restoring files it is important that the folder to be restored to is empty, as there may be an incompatibility. Therefore, to avoid incompatibility between the files, check the box to the left of the option Delete any files in the original location that were created after the backup.

Make sure you select the correct date, as when the restore is complete, the existing files will be overwritten.

Then select Start recovery.
