If you have installed WordPress in the /wordpress directory and want to move it to the root so that your site displays the installation at www.yourdomain.gr instead of www.yourdomain.gr/wordpress, you should follow these steps:

  1. Locate and open the wp-config.php file located in the wordpress directory.
  2. After the "define" statement (right before the line that says "That's all, stop editing!"), add a new line and type ('RELOCATE', true); and save the file.
  3. Log in to the WordPress administrator environment (by typing www.yourdomain.gr/wp-login.php).
  4. Select Settings and General and ensure the addresses are correct. Save the changes.
  5. After completing the above steps, open the wp-config.php file again and delete the line you added in step 2.
