How can I create a new domain alias in Plesk?

Domain aliasing allows multiple domains to point to the same site. So your site can be opened with many different domains at no extra cost, as long as you have already registered them.

To create a domain alias through, follow these steps:

1.  Log in to myTophost Panel and from there select Plesk Login to log in to the Plesk of the package you are interested in.

2. On the Websites & Domains tab, select, Add domain Alias.

3. On the Add a Domain Alias tab,
  • Domain alias name : enter the alias domain (1)
  • for the domain : Select the domain name to which you want the alias to redirect  (2)
  • Leave the following fields default except Redirect with the HTTP 301 code which is optional, as this way search engines when they find the alias address will automatically redirect to the host domain address, invalidating the alias
    - Synchronize DNS zone with the primary domain - to synchronize the DNS service.
    - Mail Service - When email is sent to a domain alias email account, you will receive it in the domain's corresponding mailbox. E.g. if they send you an email to the address info@newalias.gr you will receive this email to the address info@mydomain.gr.
    - Web Service - so that you have all the Web Services of the domain.
    - Redirect with the HTTP 301 code
    Click OK (3)
