My site is slow to load. What can I do to increase the speed?

Many times there is a possibility that you may experience delays on your site. In case there is no problem on the part of your hosting (server) then you should make sure that your site is programmatically set up so that it uses the resources of the server to the maximum extent, that there is no unnecessary information in your database, that there are no activated plugins that you do not need, and that any addons (plugins / themes) you use are updated to their latest version.

Make sure the plugins you use can be optimized, don't repeat unnecessary database queries, and update them to their latest versions.

Finally, there are sites that calculate the loading speed of your site and with reports and graphs advise you on what you should do for immediate optimization.

Some of the most popular, are GTmetrix , which you simply state the site name and click on Analyze, you get the optimization reports and Google's PageSpeed, which you select Run Insights, state your site and click on Analyze.
