Is the card I have registered for the subscription renewal safe?

The card registered to your account and used to renew a subscription is completely secure.

When purchasing a new service with a card, a token is created, after communicating with Eurobank's billing system, which is stored on our platform and serves to identify your card during renewal.

This method allows us not to store your sensitive credit card information in our system and in this way ensures absolute security in transactions. Before the service expires, this token is called and after the card is settled, the subscriptions are automatically renewed.

To identify the card, our systems store specific, non-sensitive information in accordance with the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS), such as the expiration date, the first 6 and the last 4 digits of a card. The first 6 digits indicate the country and the issuing bank, data used when validating a payment to avoid fraudulent transactions.

A token is a random sequence of symbols that acts as a substitute for the elements of a card. There is no direct mathematical relationship between the initial value of the token and the card, so the actual data cannot be determined in reverse. The actual correlation between token and data is kept in the bank's database (token vault) and outside of that there is no connection between the two values.
